I first heard of Stimming through one of Claude VonStrokes mixes, it might of been his mix for CLASH Music or maybe his Fabric CD. I don’t remember, but either way, Stimming has worked his way into my “favorites list”. His swooping bass and off-beat pick-ups sort of fall in line with that Tech Housy Dirtybird sound, but leans a bit more towards the minimal side of things. There are many excellent singles off of his 2009 full-length, Reflections, but “Song For Isabelle” seems to be striking the best cord with me right now. Check this guys catalogue out on Beatport.
