I’ve been listening to M.I.A. in unhealthy doses lately and “10 Dollar”, a throwback off of her 2005 Arular album, is the main culprit. I went ahead and bought about 12 tracks of hers yesterday, so I think it’s safe to say I have a problem… And admitting is the first step. In all seriousness, her new album MAYA (/\/\ /\ Y /\) is pretty stellar. With Rusko, Diplo and Switch leading the production, it’s not something I’d recommend skipping over. Enjoy “10 Dollar” as an ode to the Neon era and check out MAYA when you get a chance. Also, a bonus Sparkletone edit!
