D.A.M.B.. I’m almost positive that Shaun Slaughter named his newest project after the first word someone says in reaction to hearing his tunes. This Californian’s sound mirrors that of his Dirtybird neighbors in San Francisco, but with a bit more panache. Although they share similar qualities, Shaun’s sound is, as he describes it, “Bass, Bongos, Yelps, Snares, Other Continents, Other Planets, Hand Claps, Time Signatures, Wobbling Synths, Friendship, Etc.”

I’d agree with that 100%.
