June 28 Nightshifters are the undisputed kings of raved out, bass heavy tunes. Every release they’ve put out so far has arguably become an instant classic, so it’s no surprise that label co-owner DJ Donna Summer would release one of the craziest records of the bunch. Raw has nicely syncopated drums sandwiched between classic house chords and heavy bass. The release consists of 9 total tracks, 5 of which are original productions while the other 4 being remixes. The remixes come from Bok Bok, Hostage, Noise Floor Crew and Sonido Del Principe. My favorite being the Bok Bok remix of course.
