Wine That Rump

Naughty, Norwegian DJ duo So Shifty have finally dropped their first EP on Crossfaded Bacon. If you’ve heard their remixes then you already know that they make clubbed-up, tropical-flavored electro. One of my favorite tracks to play live is their bootleg remix of R. Kelly + Kerry Hilson’s “Number One” and their Ska remix of Major Lazer’s “Keep It Goin’ Louder” makes me feel like a 12 year old boy every time I hear it (both available below). Party tracks aside, on their debut EP they definitely crank it up notch.

The ingeniously titled Wine Touch Clap EP, accompanied by some scandalous album art, has a bit of vocal flavor from several dancehall artists, giving their sound even more of a tropical island feel. They’ve also got Douster, Emynd, Them Jeans, and Top Billin’ on remix duty, so head to iTunes, Juno, and Turntable Lab to pick it up and start Carnivàle a little early this year.
