Jellyfish are slowly taking over the ocean, and not just tiny jellyfish, but the huge scary mammoth ones. Researchers blame overfishing, climate change, and pollution. Nitrogen and phosphorous in run-off cause red phytoplankton blooms, which create low-oxygen dead zones where jellyfish survive, but fish (who’d normally keep the jellyfish in check) cannot.
Fortunately for us, certain sound waves may destroy these jellyfish. I’m not sure what the exact frequencies they’ll use but my guess is they’ll just blast them with some Dubstep tunes. I think Loud Pipes had this in mind when coming up with a name for his new track.
