Beautiful pop music seems to be cropping up in my iTunes’ top 25 most played more and more often these days. I could blame the warmer weather of Summer but I’ll be honest, it’s still a bit chilly in Montreal. In any case, my newest find would be the band Memory Cassette.
Comprised of a ex-member of Hail Social and Weird Tapes, Memory Cassette is beautiful music; plain and simple. To over describe it would be an injustice. Besides having a wonderful blog, they have an upcoming limited edition 7″ being co-released from Acephale and Sincerely Yours.
The album will have four tracks and be pressed on 500 limited edition white vinyl. If you know anything about Acephale you’d know that their first two 7″ releases from bands Salem and CFCF sold out extremely fast and now fetch for top dollar on eBay.
