The Magic Number

South-side Chicago club phenom, Rob Threezy has been everywhere from Mad Decent to T&A to Fool’s Gold to Ol’Head as well as representin’ his own crew Ghetto Division.  This young man can add another label to his resume with The Change Up EP, his latest release on Nightshifters. It’s definitely worth purchasing on Beatport right now as the tracks on the release are going to be the talk of the rest of the summer. It’s a breathe of fresh air from a lot of the current Fidget or B-More influenced acts as Threezy’s Chicago house upbringing can be heard through out the record. A perfect example of Chicago South-side attitude, which basically means that it’s fresh as fuck. Wobbly bass, piano chords, rave stabs, B-More breaks (that are never in your face) and just the right amount of everything. The Change Up EP is also backed with some really insane remixes from Jokers of the Scene, DJ Sega, and Mikix the Cat.

Once again, buy it now so you can be first and enjoy the title track free of charge from our good buddies Nightshifters.
